The Harold Washington Library boasts one of the city’s great atrium spaces: the spectacular Winter Garden on the library’s ninth floor, which features a 52-foot magnificent glass sky dome, olive trees and lush greenery. This space is perfect for a formal dinner or benefit gala. In addition, the Grand Lobby offers guests an elegant affair, amid paintings and tables from the Library’s Civil War collection.
